The Pie de la Sierra is located a short 15 minute ride from the beautiful historic downtown square of Uruapan and just 10 minutes away from our main tourist attraction: the exuberant National Park with the rushing waters of the Cupatitzio River.
In the other direction, driving up into the mountains, our guests can visit the Paricutin Volcano, Paracho (the birthplace of the Mexican guitar), and the villages of the Meseta Purepecha, whose Colonial chapels are of great artistic and historical interest.
Our hotel is located on the highway climbing out of Uruapan and heading west towards Carapan at kilometer marker 04.
